A 4x4Cross is just as it sounds… a 4x4 vehicle race involving 4 key elements.

THE ELEMENTS

1. ROCK CRAWLING
2. PRIMITIVE TRAIL
3. MUD HOLES
4. LOG JAMS

To keep it fair there will be up to 4 Categories to choose from based upon your rigs build-up. Classes will run in heats (A Class - D Class).

1. A CLASS: Stock
2. B CLASS: Modified Stock
3. C CLASS: Modified
4. D CLASS: Heavily Modified

Along with those classes will be separate courses for them to compete in so that A Class won’t be driving the same obstacles as D Class.

Each category will race a slightly different course. Although you will all be going up Rocky Mountain Loop, certain areas don't have bypasses making it unfair for the less built classes. Here's where we get creative. Obstacles that cannot be bypassed will have assistance ramps to help get you over them. They will be taken down prior to C and D class heats.

New additions to D Class Regulations!!! Single Seaters (Uni-Buggy's) are allowed in the D-Class ONLY. D-Class competitors can run w/o a spotter/co-driver.

Lastly, this is a timed race. You will not be penalized for stops or breakage. As long as you do not go over the set amount of time between you and the next racer and don’t go outside of the markers, you won’t be disqualified. You and your Spotter will have to work in sync as time is of the essence. No other points will be awarded. It’s your team against the finish line. All tools at your disposal are allowed, but a stop watch is probably the most important one. You will more than likely have a radio provided by AW so we can tell your spotter how much time you have. On a serious note, if you have fallen too far behind the clock and we need to pull you so you don’t stop the rig behind you; we expect complete compliance and respect. BAD ATTITUDES & VIOLENCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Good sportsmanship is expected of all.

Remember, this is supposed to be fun, and children will be watching.
If your rig should break, your team is expected to push your rig aside, if possible. You and your team are required to assist in the extraction and get out of the way and as fast as possible. Tree straps will be placed strategically for speed and convenience.

HERE’S THE CLINCHER… The TOP 5 of each category will get to duke it out one more time at the end to emerge the champion. Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 in each category.
